No you do not need to book. Neo Pop Picnic is a free outdoor event. All are welcome to attend.
Yes absolutely. Neo Pop Picnic has been designed to be an all ages, family friendly event.
Accessibility Overview
There is a wheelchair accessible route throughout the precinct, there are stairs in places however there is an alternate route available.
Drinking water and shade for guide dogs.
Lots of the cafes and restaurants are wheelchair and pram accessible.
There are accessible public toilets that can be used by people with disability and their carers, who may be of the same or different gender.
The Wilson – Darling Square Car Park has lift access.
Darling Square can be accessed through accessible public transport services.

There are accessible parking bay/s and drop-off zones on Zollner Circuit.
Darling Square is one of Sydney’s most walkable and connected places.
By Car
Darling Square is just around the corner from Wilson Car Park on Zollner Circuit, located in the Commonwealth Bank Building. Pedestrian access is via Steam Mill Lane, right in the middle of the action. All day weekend parking rates are only $13 if you book online.
By Light Rail
Darling Square is a one minute walk ( 50 metres ) from the Hay Street Light Rail stop.
By Train
Darling Square is a 10 minute walk ( 900 metres) to the Goods Line a walking and cycle path connecting Ultimo and darling Harbour.
We have 16 artists performing every Sunday between 12pm – 3pm. Some are roving musicians who will be wandering through the precinct, there is a Pop Up stage right in the square and 2 other Pop Up stages across the precinct. The intimate and roving program has been developed to encourage and support artists to be flexible, agile and responsive to this new normal Covid Safe environment and to develop innovative performance styles.
You’ll experience unique, immersive interactions with the artists right across this urban landscape stage!
Darling Square has many licensed restaurants, cafes and you’ll also find The Bucket Boys Bar in the Makers Dozen.

Darling Square is host to a myriad of retail and dining experiences to satisfy every craving at Darling Square. Small bites, big plates desserts or burgers, you’ll find whatever you desire in this always delicious, flavour filled precinct.

As much as we would love to see everyone promenading in their bright bold 1980’s inspired fashion, dressing up is encouraged but not essential.
